Technical Experience

  • Server Administration

    I have deployed my own server on my own hardware running TrueNAS, with network-attached storage in RAID, remote access through Nextcloud, and several additional services inside of docker containers on the server. I have also configured permissions for the filesystems and services, configured ingress using Cloudflare tunnels, and set up file history/backup using zfs snapshots.
  • Network Administration

    I have set up and administered several networks, including configuring DHCP servers, assigning static IPs through DHCP, configuring DNS and blocking domains, etc.
  • Operating Systems

    I have used Windows, MacOS, and Linux (Debian and Ubuntu) in several different contexts and am familiar with using and configuring all three.
  • Command line

    I am comfortable in the command line (Bash, ZSH, and Powershell) using tools like ssh, vi, grep, and git, and I have experience writing scripts to automate tasks.
